We have a new resource for parents on this website. It is called Middle Years and is a way "to provide busy parents with practical ideas that promote school success, parent involvement and more effective parenting".
Middle School children go through dramatic changes and desperately need their parents' support. Many parents want to help, but aren't sure what to do. With Middle Years, you can get the help you need. Every issue offers practical ideas to:
* Improve school success.
* Strengthen the home and school partnership.
* Enhance parenting skills
* Strenghten family life.
* Understand middle schooler's behavior.
* Build positive character traits.

I will try to post a trivia question every week. The winner will picked from everyone who can write down the question and correct answer on a piece of paper and return in the first day after the question is posted. I will draw a winner from a hat. To get in the hat you must have the correct answer.

Please check the Union information and try to encourage your student to keep practicing. They are working hard, but still need more work. Please come with us and either help supervise or watch! I think you will be impressed with what they have done.
