• Technology plays a critical role in our classrooms. District instructional leaders infuse technology into the curriculum. Many of our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards or screens, projectors, document cameras, and mobile devices. Online resources range from interactive websites to our St. James learning management system powered by Canvas.

As part of our goal to bring technology into every classroom, the District will expand its  1 to 1 computer program under the Connected to Learning(C2L) initiative to include grades 4-12. Students in grades Pre-K through 3rd will move into a 2 to 1 mobile device model with the lower grades using tablets and upper grades using laptops.

Our technology curriculum is undergoing revision this school year. Our technology curriculum will align with International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)Standards for Students.

Student safety remains a priority with our Online Safety curriculum. We are working to meet the requirements to partner with Common Sense Media Digital an industry leader in online and digital safety resources. Our online safety program is derived from the CIPA recommended guidelines. For more information on online safety and resources you can use at home, see the Online Safety resources on the right side of this page.
