General InformationThe St. James PTCO (Parent, Teacher, Community Organization) is a volunteer group of community members in the St. James School District that have come together as a support group for the schools. Our purpose is to foster a sense of support, pride, and enthusiasm: to encourage parent and public involvement in the St. James School District. We will meet every second Tuesday of every month during the school year. Membership is free and for everyone, and with this membership you will be able to Step Into An Opportunity to volunteer in our schools, not only to help students but to also help teachers. The stakeholders are parents, business people, students, other community representatives, professional educators and other school staff.
This organization shall provide service for school functions, engage in fund-raising projects, encourage parent, teacher, community involvement, and cooperate with school administration in providing educational opportunities
