Open House

Dear Students and Parents,

We hope you are having a wonderful summer and are excited about all the opportunities this upcoming Fall.  The staff here at John F. Hodge has worked hard this summer to provide your sons and daughters with the highest quality of education they can receive.  We have a few new faces, and some familiar faces that are coming back to the district.  I can tell you that I am personally so excited to be able to help serve the students, staff, and community here in St. James.

Online registration is now live and you should have received an email from central office. To register online:
1. Go the the St. James School Webpage: www.stjschools.org
2. Click on SISK12 tab on the top right of the front page and click on the parent tab
3. Type in your username and password
      a. If you don’t remember your password just click “Forgot your parent password” and you will receive an email  from  the system.
4. Select Online Registration once you log  in and follow the instructions

There is no high school supply list. Students are expected to arrive at school with a charged iPad, writing utensil, paper, and required materials for each specific class. Teachers that require materials specific for their class will let their students know the first weeks of school.

We will be hosting our Open House on Thursday August 18th from 6 - 8 pm. This is a great time for students to receive their schedules, meet their teachers and familiarize themselves with the building. We will be hosting three informational meetings that you are more than welcome to attend. The meetings will start at 6:15, 6:45, and 7:15. The topics that will be discussed include:

  • A+ and Student Handbook information (Auditorium)
  • College Scholarships and Graduation Preparedness (Old Band Room)
  • SIS/Canvas Training (Library)

We will also have an activity fair going on in the little gym throughout the Open House. Come and see what St. James has to offer!

This year we are also bringing back parking passes.  Parking passes can be purchased from Mrs. Comstock in the front office for $10.  You must have a pass to park on campus.

Words can’t express how excited we are to start this school year. Our mission is to empower students through caring relationships, academic excellence, and community relationships.  We are here to serve, and I personally look forward to working with all of you.

Sincerely,

Devin Johnson

High School Principal
