So much scientific trials in 5th grade today! Miss Wisdom's and Mrs. Schisler's fifth-grade scientists had some fun today when they completed an experiment: Expect the Unexpected. These young scientists mixed yeast and hydrogen peroxide in three separate trials, measuring the temperature before and after adding the yeast. Then, they mixed baking soda and vinegar in three separate trials, also measuring the temperature before adding the baking soda. You'll have to ask one of these students what happened to the temperature in each test!
