Thank you to families and friends of LWJE students for the extraordinary support for this year's Book Blast Campaign. This effort is to give kids books to add to or begin building home libraries, which research continually shows helps build strong and fluent readers. There was a lot of excitement as students unwrapped their book gifts, and we were excited to celebrate three treasure box winners: Adalynn, Lakota, and Raylee, in addition to our Epic Treasure Box winner: Olivia!

🚂✨ All Aboard the Polar Express! ✨🚂
Today, our school was filled with magic, joy, and a whole lot of holiday cheer as we celebrated Polar Express Day! Students arrived in cozy pajamas, enjoyed special treats, and took part in festive activities inspired by the beloved story. From hot chocolate smiles to laughter echoing through the halls, it was a day full of memories we’ll treasure.
A huge thank you to the volunteers and community partners for bringing this magical experience to life! We truly believe—just like the Polar Express reminds us—to always hold on to the magic of the season! 🎄❄️

Thank you to our community partner, Bouse Mercantile, for holding a PB & J Drive for our children. They also collected enough blankets so each child could receive one in their buddy bag. Additionally, a big shout out to our regional FFA and 4H for supporting these efforts as well. Again, thank you! Happy Holidays!!

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION TOMORROW AT 6PM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM
*Rescheduled-- Tiger Cubs Parent Night When? May 13, 2025 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. THE BOOK FAIR is happening that night. If you want to attend, please go to the library BEFORE coming to water night. Thanks! Where? Tiger Cubs playground and area around. It. SIGN IN inside the building, use the restroom, and then join us outside to play Who? ALL Tiger Cub students and parents (Adult is required.) Siblings are encouraged to NOT attend but may if you don’t have child care options. Why? To practice what we have learned in FUN ways; and to give ideas on things to do this summer. A Title I Event
