Prop TIGERS will be back on the ballot on August 8, 2023!
After carefully considering the valuable feedback we received during the first campaign, we are determined to address all your concerns and ensure absolute clarity. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing additional information to answer any questions that have been brought to our attention.
This week, we want to shed light on how the funds raised through Prop TIGERS will be allocated. We understand that transparency is crucial, so we have prepared a breakdown for you. Take a look at the graph below to see how the resources will be distributed:
Breakdown of funds if Prop TIGERS passes:
- 77% for increasing all staff pay, including certificated and classified employees (~$714,050)
- 23% for building safety and security maintenance (~$214,365)
We believe that investing in our talented staff will enable us to continue to provide an outstanding educational experience for our students. Inadequately maintained school facilities make it hard to support a large number of students with diverse needs, which has a significant impact on both teachers' and students' outcomes.
