Students attend MBU for future teacher opportunities.

Our St. James students are making waves with their recent visit to Missouri Baptist University (MBU) as part of our ongoing partnership.

Members of Future Teachers of America (FTA), including Karen Goodin, Amy Berkelman, Dionna Lynch, and Zoey Bliss, had a fantastic opportunity to engage with MBU's student teachers and participate in professional learning sessions. Their enthusiasm and knowledge left a lasting impression, with Dr. Ragulsky acknowledging that our students are exceptionally well-prepared compared to counterparts from other schools.

Our partnership with MBU isn't just about enriching experiences; it's about providing educational opportunities for both our students. We're excited to welcome student observers and teachers from MBU to our district, creating a vibrant learning environment.

In turn, MBU offers our teachers special tuition rates, strengthening our ties with higher learning institutions. These connections are essential for recruiting, retaining, and nurturing our educators, reinforcing the vital community partnerships we hold dear.
