Counselor of the YEar

St. James R-1 School District is proud to share that Chelsie Fulton, high school counselor, has been named the Counselor of the Year by the South Central Missouri Counselors Association. This award recognizes her outstanding service to students, her leadership in supporting staff, and her commitment to strengthening school culture.

This year, Mrs. Fulton launched Tiger Wars, a new initiative that celebrates students who are excelling academically and behaviorally. These assemblies are packed with games, team challenges, and school spirit, giving students a chance to shine and connect in meaningful ways.
