Annual Performance Reports 2025

The St. James R-1 School District has received its 2025 Annual Performance Report. This report looks at how well our students are learning and how our schools are growing over time. The results show steady progress across the district. St. James earned 1st place in the Four Rivers Conference for the 2025 APR and 2nd place in both the local comparison group and the conference when looking at the three-year average. These results reflect consistent effort by our students and staff. You can see the three-year average data in the graphs below:

Districtwide Highlights

  • 1st Place in the Four Rivers Conference for 2025.

  • 2nd Place in the conference and in our local comparison group based on the three-year average.

  • Academic achievement is on track for 100 percent of students in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, with strong growth in Social Studies.

  • Student groups are approaching or on track in academic performance.

  • The district met 100 percent of its targets in advanced credit, graduation rate, graduation follow-up, improvement planning, response to state standards, climate and culture surveys, kindergarten readiness, individual career planning, and expansion of career and technical education.

  • All required MSIP 6 documentation was submitted 100 percent on time.

  • 99 percent of students completed their state assessments.

  • The district met 100 percent of all other accreditation requirements.

What We Will Keep Working On

  • Improving attendance by reducing chronic absences so students are in school and able to learn.

  • Keeping a strong focus on academic excellence across all subject areas.

  • Supporting student growth by paying close attention to how different student groups and individual students are progressing.

  • Working with each building to find practical ways to help students grow and succeed in the classroom.
