St. James R-1 is proud to celebrate Katie Moreland of Lucy Wortham James Elementary for being named the Missouri Society of the Sons of the American Revolution History Teacher of the Year for Elementary School.
This statewide honor recognizes her passion for helping students connect with the past in meaningful ways. From engaging lessons to hands-on learning experiences, Mrs. Moreland brings history to life in her classroom every day.
Mrs. Moreland is also a previous St. James R-1 Teacher of the Year, a reflection of the lasting impact she has on her students, her school, and our entire district!
