The St. James R-1 School District has officially sworn in members of its Board of Education following the recent election.
Melanie Davis and Wes Gahr will continue their service on the Board after being reelected, while Jessica Roy joins as a new member. The district expressed appreciation for each member’s willingness to serve our Tiger Community and support public education.
During the reorganization of the Board, Tim Wilson was selected to serve as Board President, and Wes Gahr was named Vice President.
The district also recognized outgoing board member Jon Rapp for his service, thanking him for his leadership and dedication to students and staff during his time on the Board.
The Board of Education plays a key role in guiding the district’s mission to empower students through caring relationships, academic excellence, and community partnerships.
