Sidewalk project begins

Construction is now underway on a grant-funded sidewalk project at St. James R 1 School District.

Work began June 1 and is expected to continue through August. This project, funded through a grant secured by the district, will improve pedestrian safety, accessibility, and connectivity between the elementary campus and the Field Facility.

The project includes:

• New concrete sidewalks at the Field Facility

• A new sidewalk connection between the elementary school and the Field Facility

Please review the following temporary access changes before attending summer school, camps, athletic activities, or other events on campus.

Students, staff, and visitors attending athletic activities should use the following alternative routes:

Parking Options

• High school parking lot

Field Access

All field traffic should enter through the locker room (Field House) area and follow the designated route to the athletic fields.

*Please note that there may be brief periods when the roadway leading to the Field Facility is temporarily closed.

PK and Summer School Access
