September Update

School is underway!

We have had a fantastic start to the school year. Students are in class, fall sports are off to a great start, and many things are happening at the schools. The high school gym floor should be stained and coated this month to get it ready for use. The gym has been out of service since last year when it was flooded. You might also notice that the high school is in the process of getting some new roofs. The roofs are something that has needed to be addressed for some time. I am very excited to say that we will be ending our leaking roof problems by the end of the month!

We are happy to say that parent pick-up traffic has improved at the elementary. However, we would also like to please remind parents not to block the driveways on Dillon Street. I appreciate your help in this matter.

Across town, at the middle school, many great things in the classrooms are taking place. Of course, they have their passion for education, but they also had some upgrades there. Over the summer, the parking lot was re-paved, and the old gravel portion has been paved.

I hope everyone has an excellent September, and remember, every day is a great day to be a TIGER!
