Hello December!

Happy December!

We are on the final stretch of the first semester. I want to take a moment to please remind all district families, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home. Since Thanksgiving Break, we have seen a sharp increase in COVID-19 positive cases. We cannot emphasize enough when in doubt, stay out.

On the lighter side, state-wide assessment data has been released, and STJ schools are delighted with the overall academic scores we have received. We want to thank our teachers for their hard work and congratulate our students on showing off their brainpower!

Winter sports are in full force. Boys and girls basketball and boys wrestling have competed a few times this year, and from 7th grade to 12th grade, are off to a great start and have been competitive in all of our contests. Some of our elementary events have moved some dates around to accommodate specific grades. Please make sure you keep up with your email and LWJ social media to view any possible changes.

I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas Break. I hope that you and your family can enjoy some time together and that the weather stays as nice as it is today as I write this message.

Every day is a great day to be a TIGER,

Tim Webster

Superintendent of Schools
