"St. James is my home, both literally and figuratively. I was raised in this community, attended kindergarten in the 'big red building,' graduated from John F. Hodge High School, and continue to have strong community ties. St. James Schools are where I received my education and my own children were taught. To say that academics were the only thing that this district has provided my family and me would be to sell it short," Keeney responded when asked why she stays in our District. "Our school is progressive in technology, collaboration, and putting children first. The feeling of community has always been a top priority of this District. I am proud to have been a part of it as a student, parent, and a teacher. I love our school and truly believe what is good for our school is great for our community."
Proposition TIGERS is a $0.65 operating levy increase to RETAIN quality staff through salary increases. The levy will also be used to save money to MAINTAIN current buildings and increase safety in the St. James R-1 School District.
