Our Tiger Cubs friends had their first library visit today!

Happy Birthday, Lucy! Today is the birthday of Lucy Wortham James! Lucy was born on September 13, 1880. In honor of her birthday each year, Mrs. Hitch's third-grade EXCEL students help create a video about her! We would love for you to learn more about her in honor of her birthday. Enjoy!

Students from LWJE have been representing our district at National BETA Convention. We are proud of their efforts and hard work!
Students attending had the opportunity to view Emma's painting, Collin W's sculpture, Blair's drawing, and Charlee's fibers arts project!
The robotics team (Harrison, Asher, and Collin S with assistance from Jayson and a huge save by Emma stepping in) did GREAT and showcased their problem-solving, grit, and awesomeness.
Kinley, Emma, Asher, Harrison, and Collin S. also enjoyed participating in the Shield Summit Leadership Event.
What a cool learning experience for the kids!

We are thankful to Intercounty Electric Cooperative for supporting our Buddy Pack Program. Donations are being accepted at Country Mart in St. James.
