Students in Mr. Boggs' class were introduced to several big ideas they'll study this year and worked collaboratively to figure them out on their own before those units begin. After completing each topic, they discussed a fun social/emotional learning question in small groups.

We have enjoyed having future teacher Ms. Williams as a student observer in Mrs. Stack's math classes! She has been not only observing as a requirement for her college courses, but she has also been creating engaging lessons and analyzing data to improve student learning.

We had a great time cheering on the Varsity Tigers last night! After a 2.5 hour lightening delay, we were still full of energy and cheered the Tigers to victory over Salem. It was a great way to kick off the season!

Great Things Happen Here! Social Studies classes require you to be an investigator, to ask questions, and to synthesize information. Students practiced those skills in Mrs. Hicks' class by interviewing their peers and writing about their findings. What a neat activity!
