Great Things Happen Here! Mrs. DuClos's and Mrs. Hoak's classes took Book Genre Personality Tests today. Using their favorite aspects of stories, they took an assessment to identify their personalities. Who would have thought what you liked to read was linked to who you are?

There have been a lot of community building activities going on in Mrs. Mulhall's classes lately! Paper towers, blindfold hunts, paper bridges...So many great activities to work on teamwork and collaboration.

The dinosaur graced us with its presence this morning during morning greeting!
Happy Friday!
Don't forget - It's a full day Friday. Classes will dismiss at 3:30.

Do you know how to slay a dragon? Mr. Wisdom is building classroom community through teamwork and creativity. Each team was given a scenario, and they had to work together to come up with a plan of how to defeat the dragon. Everyone was all smiles!

Mrs. Otto's classes are building classroom community by finding classmates who have common interests. This is a fun activity where students are out of their seats and building trust amongst each other. It's the CKH way!

Summer School 2024 has come to an end! We finished the year watching The Lion King Kids performance (which was AMAZING) this morning and a water celebration in the afternoon. What a perfect way to end a fun month! 😁

Mr. Lewis's science class put their knowledge of chemical changes to the test and enjoyed mini s'mores this morning to celebrate the end of summer school. Thanks for making learning fun and engaging for our kids every day!

Congratulations to our Summer Ultra #2 finishers! This morning, 21 students spent their morning running 4 miles in 100 minutes. Several attempted this challenge last week, and not everyone finished. Today, every participant finished and was awarded a medal! It was a HOT run, but our kitchen staff supplied our kids with snacks and we make sure each child had water and electrolytes.
Well done kids, and thanks for organizing this activity, Mrs. Moore!
