Great Things Happen Here!
Mrs. Story is leading her art students through a pottery unit this week. After introducing the vocabulary, Mrs. Story modeled how to shape and mold the clay, and students followed her example. What a great way to get them excited about a new skill!

Hands on learning! While studying the effects of the cotton gin in history, Mr. Perona provided real cotton bolls and allowed kids to experience the labor of cleaning it for use. This helped students understand the effect of the new technology on the industry and the economy.
