Learning Highlight: Stone Soup and Teamwork! 🍲❤️🐯
At LWJE, November’s word of the month was TEAMWORK, and Mrs. Witt’s class brought it to life by making Stone Soup! After reading the story, students worked together to peel, chop, and prepare their own soup. The classroom smelled amazing, and everyone enjoyed a warm bowl to celebrate their efforts.

Learning Highlight: Letters to Santa with Senior Beta! 🎅🐯❤️
St. James High School Senior Beta Club students helped spread holiday cheer by teaming up with Tiger Cubs to write letters to Santa! This festive activity showcased the Beta pillars of leadership, service, and character while aligning with our mission to build caring relationships and empower students. It’s a beautiful reminder of how our older Tigers can inspire and support the next generation.

Mission Monday: Building Bonds Through Winter Cheer Camp! 🎀🐯🎄
Yesterday, over 30 Tigers from 2nd grade to 12th grade came together for Winter Cheer Camp! Older Tigers took the lead, sharing their time and talents to teach the younger ones a festive dance and a spirited cheer. Together, they even crafted adorable Christmas cheer bows!
This camp is a perfect example of the caring relationships we value in St. James. Watching our students mentor and cheer each other on is what makes our Tiger community so special!

5th-grade students are developing positive behaviors and real-world skills through their Class Bank system! By earning "money" with classroom jobs and managing expenses like desk "rent," they’re learning responsibility and financial independence.
Their recent class auction was a huge success! Students carefully spent their savings on fun rewards like snacks, games, and special teacher visits, gaining valuable experience in budgeting and decision-making.
