These affirmations celebrate uniqueness and kindness. Now, here's the twist: No peeking allowed! These precious stockings are off-limits until our students take them home for the holiday break.

In Mrs. Siders' 8th-grade creative writing class, students recently embraced the holiday cheer by writing stories from the viewpoint of their gingerbread pals. Alongside these tales, the class put their creative talent on display, decorating gingerbread houses that sparkled with holiday magic. A friendly competition added to the excitement, with the best-decorated house earning the creators a candy bar of their choice. Mrs. Watson's 2nd block emerged victorious, reading an impressive 42,000 words and earning a hot cocoa party and cookie treat.
