Ignite Your Leadership Light! ✨🐯❤️
A group of St. James High School students, along with Mrs. Hance, recently attended the Ignite Your Leadership Light Women's Conference in Rolla. The event brought together 200 women for a day of personal and professional development, networking with local leaders, interactive workshops, wellness activities, vision board goal-setting, and more.
Speakers shared inspiring insights on leadership and planning for the future, reflecting our Future Focused value from the Portrait of a Graduate! Our students left motivated and ready to take what they learned back to St. James High School and the wider community. #stjschools #tigerpride
St. James Middle School welcomed its new Free Little Library earlier this month! Students and families are invited to explore the collection and take any book that sparks their interest. Advisory students in Mrs. Siders’ class will help keep the library stocked, demonstrating Engaged Citizenship by supporting a shared resource for their school community.

This year’s production brings a fresh twist to the classic tale, set in a world of rivalry, risk, and romance. Our high school cast and crew have poured their hearts into every scene, and the results are nothing short of stunning.
Photos captured by high school yearbook student Ivan Dong showcase the talent and creativity on the stage. You can see it for yourself at our Performing Arts Center this week! Admission is by donation, and house opens 30 minutes before showtimes.

Today, first graders at Lucy Wortham James Elementary loaded up items from their canned food drive for this year’s service learning project. Thanks to our generous Tiger families, nearly 400 non-perishable items have already been collected!
All donations will go to the St. James Caring Center to support local families in need! They’re still collecting through tomorrow, so there’s time to add to this incredible effort!

St. James Middle School honored Veterans today with an assembly featuring student reflections, the National Anthem performed by Cambreigh Chancey, and patriotic selections from the combined Red Regiment Band.
Guest speaker First Lieutenant Steven Holt of the U.S. Army National Guard shared an inspiring message about his military career and the impact service has had on his life. The program closed with the choir’s Armed Forces Medley and Taps performed by 8th grader Alice Pearson.

Lucy Wortham James Elementary students spent the day showing appreciation for our nation’s veterans through creativity and kindness. LWJE Beta hosted the event, leading activity stations as students made 100 handmade cards and gift bags. After school, Beta students finished the bags, filling them with goodies, which were delivered to the Missouri Veterans Home as a heartfelt thank-you to those who have served.

St. James High School held its annual Veterans Day Assembly, celebrating the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country. The program featured our Chamber Choir, Red Regiment Band, and students who shared poems and readings in honor of Veterans. Current students Andrew Lillis, Josh Carpenter, Jon Bell, and Mitchell Dekock, joined by SFC Brian Beard, presented the colors and were recognized for their plans to serve after graduation.
Gunnery Sergeant Todd Snyder, USMC (Ret.), delivered an inspiring keynote on service, dedication, and the value of a life committed to others.
