5th Graders Spawned a Real World Adventure at Maramec Spring Park! ❤️🐯⛏️

Earlier this month, 5th-grade students headed to Maramec Spring Park for a hands-on Minecraft-themed adventure! Students explored the park while gathering materials for their “forges,” using teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills along the way.

Monster Magic in the Making! 🧌🎨💚

The monsters are back and better than ever! Yesterday, fourth graders saw their imaginative monster drawings brought to life by our high school art students through creative 3D and mixed-media designs. From goofy to spooky to totally one-of-a-kind, each creation showcased the talent and teamwork across grade levels.

This collaboration continues to be a favorite tradition, connecting students through creativity, mentorship, and a little monster mayhem along the way!

MAP Carnival Brings Big Fun for 3rd Grade! 🎡🐯🍭

LWJE Hosts First Schoolwide Assembly Featuring Author Izzy B! ❤️🐯🤍

Author Izzy B visited LWJE students, sharing one of his books while also giving students a behind-the-scenes look at his writing process and the craft of storytelling. He shared how he first dreamed of becoming an author and illustrator in first grade, spent his childhood creating funny stories and drawings, and later became an elementary teacher before turning his passion for storytelling into a full-time career. His energy and stories kept students engaged and laughing from start to finish!
