St. James High School photography students explored Trinity Episcopal Church as their latest study in architectural design. They focused on the essentials that bring buildings to life through a lens, including lines, symmetry, texture, light, and perspective. It was a chance to practice seeing a familiar space the way a photographer does, noticing how every angle tells a different story.

Last week, 2nd-grade students visited Earth’s Classroom, where they learned about Missouri’s wild mammals and examined furs and skulls to see their unique adaptations up close. They also explored how Native American tribes used local resources through fire starting, home building, sign language, and twining activities.
This experience strengthened students’ Effective Communication skills as they listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, and shared what they learned with one another!

A group of St. James High School students, along with Mrs. Hance, recently attended the Ignite Your Leadership Light Women's Conference in Rolla. The event brought together 200 women for a day of personal and professional development, networking with local leaders, interactive workshops, wellness activities, vision board goal-setting, and more.
