Community Connections with First Grade! ❤️🐯🤍
First graders took their Community Helpers unit beyond the classroom with a walking field trip around town! Students explored local workplaces and later learned from special visitors about their careers.
A big thank you to our guest speakers for taking time out of their day and to the first-grade team for providing these learning experiences that connect classroom lessons to the world around them! #communitypartnerships #stjschools #tigerpride

Making a Difference, One Donation at a Time! ❤️🐯🤍
Another successful Fall Blood Drive is in the books! The National Honor Society (NHS) at St. James High School teamed up with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks and collected 32 donations from 40 registered donors. A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and to NHS Sponsor, Mr. Adams, for guiding students through another successful blood drive!
Students and staff demonstrated Engaged Citizenship, a core value from our Portrait of a Graduate, by working side by side to serve others and support our community. #NHS #CBCO #stjschools #tigerpride

Building Bonds and Spirit at Pink Out Kiddy Camp! 🐾🐯🎀
Students from Lucy Wortham James Elementary, St. James Middle School, and St. James High School came together for the Pink Out Kiddy Camp, where mentorship took center stage. Older cheerleaders led younger students through team-building activities and taught cheers.
The week wrapped up under the Friday night lights, as all participants performed before the varsity football game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thank you to our cheer coaches and cheerleaders for showing what it means to lead with heart and Tiger pride!

Members recently attended the St. Louis Fashion Alliance, exploring design trends, the role of AI in fashion, and hearing from industry professionals. They also participated in the FCCLA Region 5 Fall Meeting in Rolla, learning about teen safety, leadership opportunities, and what to expect from FCCLA after graduation.

Today, teachers spent the day learning and growing during Professional Development. The morning focused on deepening our Portrait of a Graduate, followed by a keynote from Josh Varner. The day wrapped up with Tiger Academy mini-sessions, led by both guest presenters and our own Tiger staff, where we shared ideas and strengthened skills.
A big thank-you to all our presenters for sharing their time, knowledge, and expertise with us today. All Roads Lead Forward when we learn together!
