We are thrilled to share that Seble Stutzman from St. James has been selected as one of just 30 high school sophomores across Missouri to participate in the 2026 Missouri Agribusiness Academy!
Seble will spend a week in June in St. Louis exploring careers in agriculture, building leadership skills, and learning more about farming, ranching, and food production. Congratulations, Seble! We are so proud to see you representing the Tiger community! #FFA #stjschools #tigerpride

Today, 5th graders got a closer look at the music options waiting for them at the middle school! Mr. Payne and Mr. Felan, along with high school band and choir students, walked them through the different options, explained how each program works, and shared what to expect next year.
Then it was time to jump in! Students had the chance to try out instruments and even audition for choir, turning questions into real experiences. Opportunities like this help students start thinking ahead and make confident choices about their future. That is what being Future Focused is all about!

Paraprofessionals make a difference in ways that often go unseen, but never unfelt.
They step in wherever they are needed, support students with patience and care, and help keep our classrooms moving forward each day. From small moments to big breakthroughs, their impact is constant.
Today, we recognize and appreciate the role they play in creating a strong, supportive environment for our students and staff! Thank you for all you do!

Today, 3rd-grade Tigers released butterflies they’ve been observing and caring for in the classroom! From tiny caterpillars to fully formed butterflies, students explored each stage of the life cycle up close while asking questions and making connections. Hands-on learning gives students the chance to practice Critical Thinking as they explore the world around them.

Mrs. Mulhall's Teen Leadership class put Social Integrity into action by creating presentations about honesty, responsibility, fairness, and caring for others. They shared their lessons with younger Tigers at Lucy Wortham James Elementary, mentoring the next generation while reinforcing these values in themselves.
Thank you to the staff and administrators at both buildings for making this learning experience possible! #MissionMakers #stjschools #tigerpride

Building Confidence Through Community! ❤️🐯🤍
Two of our Tigers joined students from across the region at Self Advocacy Day, hosted by Francis Howell School District. With guidance from adult mentors, they participated in escape rooms, crafts, and hands-on activities while practicing important self-advocacy skills, including managing hearing equipment, letting teachers know when microphones aren’t working, and requesting closed captioning.
A big thank you to Francis Howell for hosting this event and to our educators for making it possible. It was a meaningful day of learning, connection, and growth!

Creativity with a purpose. That is what our St. James Middle School STEM Club brought to this year’s No MOre Trash! competition.
Students spent hours designing and creating a one-of-a-kind trash can that promotes litter prevention and protecting natural beauty and wildlife. This project challenged them to think beyond the classroom and use their skills to make a real difference.
A big shoutout to these students for their hard work and to Mrs. Mulhall for leading the way and supporting this meaningful project! #MODOT #stjschools #tigerpride
