Back-to-School Reminders! Just a friendly heads-up about the weather this week. Looks like we're in for a hot one, with temperatures potentially hitting record-breaking highs! It's important to plan ahead and stay cool. Please feel free to send a water bottle with your child to help keep them hydrated throughout the day. Hydration is key, and while we do have water fountains available, having a personal water bottle can be extra convenient. Also, a quick reminder about before and after-school congestion, especially along Jefferson Street. Please anticipate more traffic and activity in the area. Mission Monday: Students Unite for Community Good! For this #MissionMonday, we want to spotlight the teamwork of our Tigers football team and St. James FFA. Their joint effort during the recent commodities event truly showcased the #tigerpride at the heart of our community. At the St. James Caring Center Commodity Day Distribution, our FFA members, alongside their advisors, partnered with the Tigers football team and coaches to load vehicles with a month's worth of groceries. This hands-on experience left a lasting impact on both our students and the community they serve, reinforcing the significance of collaboration and compassion. Beyond the event's success, it's the connections formed that truly shine. Our students connect with the community, while the community strengthens our students' growth.
