Learning Highlight: Middle School Students Go to Missouri S&T's Engineering Day! 🌟
Last week. the Science Department at St. James Middle School took 62 of our outstanding 7th and 8th graders to Missouri S&T's Engineering Day! They explored different scientific fields like robotics, volcanology, geology, computer science, metal casting, and mining! 🌎💻⛏️

Our 5th-grade Math League is on fire! Every Thursday, these incredible young minds gather after school to dive into the world of math through engaging games. Not only are they conquering challenging math concepts, but they're also fostering teamwork and forging lifelong friendships along the way.
This past Saturday, our dedicated Mathletes showcased their skills at a competition in Rolla, and we're thrilled to announce that seven students advanced to the Regional Competition on April 4, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri!

Learning Highlight: Life-Sized Math Adventures at St. James Middle School! 🌟🐯
Mrs. Stack's math classes took learning to a whole new level today! Students didn't just study coordinate planes, quadrants, and the x and y-axis - they brought it to life! They became a human-sized model of the math they've been mastering. With ordered pairs in hand, students headed outside and navigated through the challenge of placing themselves in the correct location.
