Our amazing Future Teachers of America (FTA) group organized a "water day" for our high school teachers recently! With reusable cups, refreshing drink mixes, and ice, they whipped up some delightful concoctions. Guess what? They'll be spreading the joy across all our buildings throughout February!

Learning Highlight: Life-Sized Math Adventures at St. James Middle School! 🌟🐯
Mrs. Stack's math classes took learning to a whole new level today! Students didn't just study coordinate planes, quadrants, and the x and y-axis - they brought it to life! They became a human-sized model of the math they've been mastering. With ordered pairs in hand, students headed outside and navigated through the challenge of placing themselves in the correct location.

Students at Lucy Wortham James Elementary embraced life's lemons and turned them into delicious lemonade! Each grade level team received lemons from “LIFE,” and our creative students sweetened the day by then giving them lemonade. Afterward, they headed back to their classroom to make some fresh-squeezed lemonade of their own!

Months of hard work and coordination have led to an amazing showcase today at St. James R-1 High School! Students in 3D Art and Advanced Art brought the imaginative illustrations of our 4th graders to life in stunning mediums.
Today, our 4th graders visited the high school to see their monsters in real life and meet the talented high school artists who made it happen. This project is all about teamwork, creativity, and mentorship.

We're thrilled to announce the recent achievements of our DECA students at Districts in Jefferson City! Out of 19 students who competed, 11 qualified for the State competition! What's even more impressive? Eight of these qualifiers are first-time competitors!
